Charisma Carpenter
Charisma Carpenter, born July 23, 1970 was an American actress. Her character was Cordelia Chase in the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) as well as its spin-off series Angel (1999–2004). She was also in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas and Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell and Lacy in The Lying Game (2012–2013 strong>).
Carpenter was the daughter of Christine Carpenter (a bird sanctuary worker, and Don Carpenter (a salesman), and was born in Las Vegas. Carpenter is from Spanish, French, and German descent (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter was one of the students at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. [6] She was also part of an ensemble of dance and song which was in the Las Vegas Valley when Carpenter was nine years old.
Carpenter aged 15 when she and her family moved with her family to Rosarito Beach in Baja California, Mexico [2] and later to San Diego, California. She attended Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. 2] [failed verification] Following her graduation, Carpenter traveled throughout Europe. When she returned to San Diego, she worked as a video store clerk and aerobics instructor and also in property management. She was a cheerleader for San Diego Chargers football in 1991. In 1992, she relocated to Los Angeles.
Henry Hubbard Jr., an ex-police officer from San Diego and serial rapist was a raped victim who assaulted her and two male buddies while she was swimming in San Diego in the year 1991. Hubbard tried to subdue them with a gun. In the course of the battle the two friends as well as Hubbard were killed, forcing Hubbard to flee the scene but both were able to escape the assault. Hubbard was found guilty and sentenced to 56 years prison for a string of rapes and thefts. Carpenter used Hubbard's flashlight to the beach, which he had left at the scene and the flashlight turned out to be one of the key pieces of evidence against him.
